Fees and refunds

Membership and examination fees are set by the society and shown before you apply. The office can change a category fee for future applications from the administration area. Last updated 9 October 2026.

When a fee is due

The fee shown for your category is recorded when you submit an application. Honorary membership has no fee. A payment gateway is not connected yet. The office confirms payment against the ledger and then continues the application or the examination.

If an application is not approved

If the membership committee rejects an application before a Member ID is issued, you may write to the office within 30 days and ask for the membership fee to be returned. The office will reply in writing. A fee is not returned when a Member ID has already been issued, except where the committee decides otherwise.

Examinations

An examination fee, once the office has marked it paid and the paper has been opened, is not refunded. If the examination is cancelled by the society before it opens, the fee is returned or kept as credit for the next sitting, at your choice.

Email neurodiagnosticsociety@gmail.com with your username, the date of payment and the category or examination. Allow 15 working days for a reply.
